著者について

太宰治（ダザイオサム） 1909年（明治42年）、青森県北津軽郡金木村の大地主の六男として生まれる。本名、津島修治。薬物中毒になりながらも、第二次世界大戦前から戦後にかけて作品を発表。主な作品に『走れメロス』『お伽草紙』『人間失格』『斜陽』などがある。戦後は流行作家として活躍するも、1948年6月13日、玉川上水で愛人であった山崎富栄と入水自殺。享年38。
